Cyrus Bliss is a four man metal band based in Springfield, Illinois. The band was formed in 1992.

Tom Montgomery, age 29, guitars and vocals
Jeff Helmkamp, age 33, drums
Zac Broaddus, age 27, guitar, back-up vocals
Wade Wilson, age 29, bass, back-up vocals
We have performed throughout our home state,
and are ready to hit the road to promote our new cd "Why 2 Kill".
We have a long term commitment to our original music
and the recording of future projects.
The bands sound has progressed with the times
and is very fresh and modern.
Like many other original bands we are striving
for that elusive record or tour contract.
We are also in need of professional motivated management
to help with gig booking, as we are so busy writing
and recording.
The band has received many good revues in local
newspapers such as "The State Journal Register",
The Illinois Times, and also "Rag Magazine", Indiescent Magazine,
"Divernon News".
Their latest cd has received air-play on the local rock station, WQLZ The Rock Station
Cyrus Bliss has released four self-made recordings starting
in "93 with "Bliss Me", "94 "Visions of a Mind", '96,'97 "Human"
and in 2000 our latest endeavor, "Why 2 Kill".
